RESIDENT EVIL 9

oh my bruh i finished requiem in like four days... and then i started another run right away. it was so perfect and fun, and i absolutely love grace ashcroft!! and i loved seeing leon's fine ass af. i didn't expect the game to be so nostalgic and to successfully encapsulate what fans love about these games. in fact, now that i think about it, i have never been disappointed by any resident evil game i have played. yes even 6 shut up but that's crazy and i wish other game series could get it right. they knew what fans wanted to see and were so ambitious, graphics were insane, the environments and ambience were so well done, and the art OH GOD! oh god the art. i need so many completion points to unlock all of the concept art but it is so inspiring. it has been a while since a game had this effect on me tbh and hopefully it will encourage me to pick up procreate or my sketchbook and get to doodling. i'd go on about how the plot is awesome sauce but it literally just came out so i must refrain... if anyone wishes to talk about how insane that fucking game is!! let me know.

NIRVANNA THE BAND THE SHOW THE MOVIE

flight of the conchords. nathan fielder. tim robinson. it would seem this kind of stuff is just my thing (well, this and hospital + organized crime media) but this rivals my seinfeld hyperfixation. nirvanna the band the show is about a band (of two quirked up white guys) trying to get to play a show at the rivoli in toronto by executing a series of horribly stupid plans. i could not wait to see this movie. the first time i ever went to toronto three years ago... i took a picture of the rivoli. i was a very casual fan, mostly interested in the wii shop wednesday song, to be honest. then i got the bug. the movie was so everything i wanted it to be and i really admire these guys as creatives. i started this website after watching an interview and hearing matt johnson talk about having to just do stuff and accept that it could very well turn out to be crap, but that's just apart of the process. the movie was just so stupid and enjoyable. i got to infodump about what i have learned about the careers of matt johnson and jay mccarrol and fun facts about the movie and show, as well as feel that nice feeling when people are liking/laughing at the movie you convinced them to go see.

as for what else is up lately! other than working on this website and literally working, i have been workshopping a recipe for lavender lemon oatmeal cookies and binge watching tv shows to get through this insane winter. i have also successfully played all of the resident evil games i intended to before the release of requiem. another success would be i finally figured out what i want to major in, so the future is looking bright.
